Directions: From the intersection of Lindsey and McKellips, go east on Mckellips just past the "blue" shopping center.  Turn right into the next plaza which includes Bark Avenue Pet Resort and Animal Hospital also.
Please follow drive around left side of building and pull up slowly to gate.  Gate will open away from you.  Drive straight back in and park in front of the very back large fenced in grass area.

AKC S.T.A.R Puppy class forming now!
Class Begins Thursday January 19th, 2012 6:00 PM
6 week session is $75

Class will focus on:
    Socialization
    Training
    Activity
    Responsibility

Open to all breeds and “all American” mixes. Puppies shall be less than one year of age at the conclusion of the session to be eligible for the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Award.

Class elements include the following along with individual problem solving:
    Allows petting by person other than owner
    Grooming
    Walks on a loose leash
    Walks by other people - Walks on leash past other people
    Sit and down on command
    Comes to owner when name is called
    Reaction to Distractions-distractions are presented 15-ft away
    Stay on leash with another person
    Socialization
    We will progress to healing and stays as dog/handler skills allow

Shooting STARS
Class begins Tuesday January 17th, 2012 6:00 PM
6 week session is $60
Basic Obedience and "pet" iquette
This class is for puppies and young dogs who have taken a puppy class or older dogs first class
We will build on those skills learned in puppy class and include socialzation time
Work on behavior consistancy, and Petiquette in the home such as begging, boundries, front door manners

CANINE GOOD CITIZEN CLASS~Sponsored by the Hartford

4 week session is $40
no class 1/21 or 2/4
The AKC’s Canine Good Citizen Program is designed to recognize dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The program stresses responsible dog ownership, basic training, and good manners for the dogs. The purpose of the CGC Program is ensure that our favorite companion, the dog, can be a respected member of the community because
it has been trained to be well behaved in the home, in public places, and in the presence of other dogs

Rally Obedience class~All levels 
Class Begins Saturday January 14th and  28th at 10-11:30 AM
 2 week mini session is $30
Second mini session is February 11th and 18th

Great for dog and owner to build a working relationship.  Different from
a traditional Obedience class in that we take the sit, stay, down, heal
and other traditional obedience commands and put them on a course that
team completes each class.  Obedience has never been so much fun!



Following classes are available for early Saturday mornings or afternoons based on interest
private ($25 half hour) and semi-private (2 students @$15 each)
